11/20/04 You'll never guess who just turned 1? Me! I am weighing in about 20lbs. I started walking on October 1st and get into anything on my level(especially potting soil). I now have six teeth(2 on top, 4 on bottom). I spent my birthday with Daddy, Mommy, and Auntie Elaine. I got some really nice gifts that I am already dragging all over the house. I can say mama, dada, baby, and yeah(while clapping). I have a mind of my own and a strong will to do as I please. I can also be very stubborn and persistant.

9/16/04  I am almost 10 months old.  Where has the time gone.  I had my 9 month check up on the 3rd and I weighed in at 18lbs15ozs and 28 1/4inches.  My feet sure have grown they are now a  4/ 1/2.  I have another tooth with another growing in all on the bottom.  I have taken 1-2 steps here and there but only when no one is looking.  I have no problem walking if some one holds my hand. I crawl into my chair & stand up on i.  Give me a little time and  I will be climbing into my walker next.  I am cruising along furniture trying to get into everything.  Please check back next month to see if I am walking yet.  I was supposed to go to SC for vacation but hurricane Gaston stopped that.  I went bowling, visited the water park, and Luray Cavern instead.

8/19/04  How quickly things can change.  I am know crawling all over the place getting into anything within my reach.  I like to play chase(only if you chase me).  I am also pulling up really well and taking a few steps after pull up.  I am standing on my own.  As for my weight I know I am at least 19lbs but won't know officially until 9/3/04.  I have been keeping myself busy most week-ends.  I visited my grandparents, uncles, & family in NY & my God family in MD.  My God family came to visit my and Uncle J.  Tomorrow grandma comes and Saturday my cousins Marcia, Mike, Mikayla, & Niko.  I can hardly wait to see everyone I actually went to bed on time for once.   Well that is all for now, look for a new update in September.

7/12/04 Well last time we checked I weighed in about 18lbs on a home scale so who knows what the actual amount is.  My two bottom front teeth have emerged.  I had some really cranky days getting thru that.  I still not crawling full time but I can move from a sitting poisition to crawling and move a few inches, I really like to bunny hop. It won't be too much longer before I am at full speed Mommy and Daddy had to break down and buy the gate just to be prepared.  Hershey's park was nice.  I was able to stay up long enough to see the first firework go off but I was out for the night soon after despite all the noise.

6/16/04 At my Dr. appt 5/21/04 I weighed in at 17lbs 12ozs at her 6 month check up.  If you didn't notice I like to eat everyting put in front of me with the exception of baby cereal.  I have only grown 1.25 inches for a total of 26. I am sitting un-assisted for longer periods everyday.  I'm rocking now so crawling is right around the corner, watch out daddy & mommy!!!  I am still doing really well with traveling, I went to visit my Uncle Darrell & Aunt Niki in May with a drive by visit to Lake.  I also got to go with mommy & daddy to Hampton, VA. This week-end I will head to MD and PA over the 4th of July week-end, Hershey's park here I come.  Enjoy the fireworks, check back next month to see my reaction to the show.  If I can stay awake.

3/31/04 Déja weighed in at 14lbs at her 4 month appointment and is 24 3/4 inches. Déja had a busy month, she is quite the traveler.  She visited her paternal grandparents in NY and then her maternal grandparents in MT as well as her maternal great grandmother, great aunt, & cousins in ID.  I also started cereal after my vacation. Happy Easter everyone.

2/26/04 Déja is now 13lbs at 3 months.  She is getting prettier everyday.  Smiles are more forth coming but not for the camera.  Déja is now only waking once during the night for a meal, she sure knows how to keep Daddy awake all day when he is trying to catch a few zzz's before work.  Check back around the 1st of April for the next update.

01/28/04 Déja went for her 2 month check up today and weighed in at 11lbs 13ozs and has grown to 22 1/2 inches.  Déja is much more alert these days and staying awake for up to 4 hrs during the day.  Smiles(not gas related) are here but she is very stubborn about when to grant them.  So no pictures for you yet.

12/26/03 Déja has seen her first Christmas and lived to tell about. She seemed to be more fascinated by the lights on the tree than the gifts under it. Déja had her 1 month check up today and weighed in at a whopping 9lbs, 3ozs and is now 20.75 inches.

At her two week appointment Déja weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces.
